registration policies, code of conduct, AND EVENT DISCLAIMERS

NOTE REGARDING OUR POLICIES

JAHC is hosted by the National Center for Homeopathy (NCH). Founded in 1974, NCH is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the homeopathy community by providing resources and connecting people with charitable projects and events that advance the use and practice of homeopathy.

JAHC is a non-profit, charitable event. The presenters generously donate their time and expertise to increase awareness, deepen your knowledge and improve lives. Volunteers make up the majority of the planning committee and onsite staff. While we do not make a profit, we look forward to serving the community through high-quality educational events and resources for years to come. Thank you to JAHC sponsors, volunteers, speakers, exhibitors, and donors for making this event possible.

JAHC PAYMENT POLICY

Payment for registration must be made online by credit or debit card. Payment by check, money order and wire transfers are not accepted for individual registrations. Registration will not be final until payment is received in full.

At The Door & Late REGISTRATIONS

Attendees should plan to register no later than Monday, April 15, 2024. At the door pricing may take effect as early as 12:00am ET on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Please note that if you register for the event after Monday, April 15, 2024 it can take approximately 48-hours to setup your access to the vFairs platform. Late registrants will be provided access to the recordings of any missed events approximately one week after the conclusion of the live event.

JAHC RECORDINGS

JAHC educational sessions will be recorded (there may be a few exceptions). Access to the recordings is free for registered attendees that have paid for a ticket that includes the educational sessions. 3-Day ticket holders will have access to the complete recordings package, while 1-Day ticket holders will have access to the Friday recordings package. The full recordings package will be available on the vFairs platform for 30 days after the event. After 30 days, recordings will be relocated to the JAHC.info website video portal for extended access (available through December 31, 2024). Please note that some speakers may choose to opt out from allowing their video to be included in the extended access web portal. ACCESS TO THE JAHC 2024 RECORDINGS WILL EXPIRE AFTER DECEMBER 31, 2024.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUND POLICY

IN-PERSON TICKETS: Due to the hybrid nature of this conference, only partial refunds will be issued on a case-by-case basis upon request. In-person ticket holders unable to attend in Reston, VA, will have their ticket transferred from an in-person event ticket to a virtual event ticket with access to the live-streaming event and recordings. For anyone that missed the live-streamed event, presentations and supplemental materials will be posted on our event platform within a week after the live event. Only the price difference between the tickets (in-person vs virtual) will be refunded, less a $25.00 processing feeRequests for partial refunds due to ticket adjustments from in-person to virtual, must be submitted in writing (via email) to [email protected] no later than April 1, 2024. After April 1, 2024 in-person ticket holders may still attend virtually, but partial refunds will not be processed. NCH RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROCESS ALL PARTIAL REFUNDS RECEIVED BY APRIL 1, 2024 AFTER THE CONCLUSION OF THE EVENT.

VIRTUAL TICKETS: Due to the virtual nature of this conference, no refunds will be issued. All presentations and supplemental materials will be posted on our event platform for you to access within a week after the live-streaming event should you not be able to participate during the live event April 19 – 21, 2024.

UNUSED COUPON CODES: There is not a way to apply a coupon code after a registration has already been submitted and paid in full. As a non-profit charity, we avoid the additional costs of processing partial refunds and ask that the attendee forfeit the value of the unused coupon. The value of a coupon code is not transferrable to any other event, product or NCH Membership.

TICKET TYPE SWITCHES: We’ve outsourced the management of JAHC registration to the company vFairs. We must work within the limitations of their current platform/software. Their site does not have the advanced ability to switch or upgrade a registration ticket and charge a difference. The registered attendee would need to request a cancellation and refund of their original registration, be manually deleted from the platform by a NCH team member and then re-register themselves for the event at the current rate. The way their software works, once the ticket price goes up we do not have the ability to offer an earlier price. We understand this is not ideal, but it is the policy for JAHC 2024.

ADA STATEMENT

In compliance with ADA regulations, the JAHC will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that pre-registered individuals with disabilities are given equal opportunity to participate in the program offered by the JAHC upon request. Please indicate what your needs are at the time of registration. We cannot ensure the availability of appropriate accommodations without prior notification.

NAME BADGES

All in-person event registrants will be provided a name badge for use during the event. After checking in, your name badge serves as your “ticket” into the event. For security purposes, you will be required to wear your name badge at all times in the JAHC meeting space, including the exhibit hall. Individuals without a visible name badge will not be permitted.

YOUR FAMILY & FRIENDS

Everyone present at the event area is required to be a registered attendee. For friends or family members that plan to accompany you at the event, we offer an Exhibit Hall Only Pass which would give them access to all of the JAHC areas with the exception of the educational session rooms. See the registration page for pricing and to register a friend or family member.

BE AWARE OF SCAMS

ATTENDEE LIST SCAM – Fraudulent emails claiming to offer for sale “attendee lists” or Discounted OPT-IN (Permission-based) lists have already started to circulate. These scammers are trying to phish for your information and gain access to financial resources. The companies or independent Marketing Managers have no association with the National Center for Homeopathy (NCH) or the Joint American Homeopathic Conference (JAHC). If you receive a JAHC related attendee list email, do not interact with the sender, follow your typical procedure for reporting SPAM, and delete the message. Please know that NCH will not rent, share, or sell contact information of attendees, sponsors and exhibitors to any third parties (even paid JAHC sponsors and exhibitors). NCH is not responsible for any financial loss you may experience from communicating with these scammers

HOTEL POACHING – NCH strongly encourages you to make hotel reservations with the official host hotel, Hyatt Regency Reston, directly. Please be cautious and aware that any solicitation you receive regarding housing services coming from a third-party company that is not affiliated with NCH or the JAHC in any way. NCH has no affiliation with other room brokers. Wholesalers and scammers will attempt to contact our exhibitors and attendees to book hotel reservations and we would like to remind our exhibitors and attendees that NCH has no affiliation with any of these room brokers. Those who opt for alternatives may find themselves at risk. Room reservations made on your behalf by any person or organization other than our hired event manager, Rebecca Takemoto of Syncopate Meetings & Events and the Hyatt Regency Reston staff is not guaranteed, and NCH is not responsible for any financial loss you may experience
