Homeopathy Then and Now: How Lessons from the Past Shape Our Practice Now

Lisa Amerine, ND, DHANP, is a Naturopathic Doctor practicing in Lafayette, Colorado. After attaining her Naturopathic Doctorate degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Amerine went on to become one of few doctors in the country who have achieved Diplomate status with the Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians (DHANP).

Dr. Amerine has been passionate about homeopathy since childhood and has dedicated her entire life to this medicine.  She founded her practice, Pure Homeopathy in 2004, where she treats people of all ages and all ranges of disease with a goal of restoring a vibrant health.  In addition to her busy practice she is part of a team of international experts to co-author the “Materia Medica Pura Project,” a several-thousand-hour project to advance homeopathy around the world. When she is not studying homeopathy Dr. Amerine enjoys time with her family, husband Greg and two daughters, Alexis and Brianna.

Wilderness Medicine and Homeopathy

Knowledge of how to use homeopathic medicines in the wilderness is a valuable tool. Emergencies when acted on quickly can be lifesaving and or decrease long term impacts of an accident or illness and enable a quicker recovery. The Wilderness medicine and homeopathy lecture is designed to lay out the most common emergency situations one would face in a wilderness setting. We will discuss what homeopathic medicines to use including posology and frequency of repetition of dosing along with proper evacuation procedures should the accident or illness require the inclusion of emergency medicine.
